Deep reading of Kanya

Kanya is the only rashi in which Budha (Mercury) is both ruler and exalted (to 15°). This grants sharp intelligence but also a tendency to over-analyze. Kanya delights in detail - where others see chaos, she sees system. The nakshatras here are the 4th quarter of Uttara Phalguni, all of Hasta and the first two quarters of Chitra.
