Avatar

An avatar in a dream reflects a way of presenting oneself in a world that can be both physical and virtual. It can symbolize a desire to hide behind a mask, to experiment with different aspects of one's identity, or to manifest qualities that are usually suppressed. Psychologically, an avatar can represent a part of the Persona – the role we play before the world, or a desire to explore alternative versions of ourselves without consequences. From a Jungian perspective, it is a way to manifest different archetypes or integrate repressed abilities. Spiritually, the avatar is a reminder that we are multidimensional beings and can explore different manifestations of our being until we discover our authentic essence.
