Lava

Dreaming of lava is a powerful and dynamic symbol, closely related to an erupting volcano. Lava represents raw, untamed energy – often emotions like passion, anger, sexuality, or creative force that is molten and rising to the surface. It can carry both destructive and purifying potential. It simultaneously destroys the old but also creates new ground for growth. From a Jungian perspective, lava is a manifestation of deep archetypal energies from the collective unconscious that need integration. It's important how you interact with the lava – do you run from it, observe it, or are you immersed in it? Spiritually, lava is a metaphor for the process of alchemical transformation, where the old 'Self' is melted down to its foundations for a new, stronger, and more authentic 'Self' to emerge. It is a call to recognize and direct these powerful internal forces.
